The new HEINE Series

Completely reimagined.
Completely remade.

The core of both instruments is an extremely durable aluminium frame that will stand the test of time.

Everything is mounted on it. Maximum-precision glass lenses. Durable housing. LEDHQ illumination.
The BETA X Otoscope features an additional integrated examination light for the throat, eyes and more. The BETA X Ophthalmoscope includes a new optical system.

Another instrument in our HEINE X Series is our GAMMA 3.2 Acoustic Stethoscope, which is a versatile all-rounder.

The HEINE BETA Otoscope

The world’s first otoscope with an additional integrated examination light and exchangeable optical modules.

The HEINE GAMMA 3.2 Acoustic Stethoscope

An instrument in our new X Series, in which we have placed particular emphasis on outstanding acoustics and an excellent ergonomic design.

Our aluminium frame withstands the ravages of time.

At the heart of both new BETA instruments is a solid aluminium frame. Using computer control, it is milled from solid material, machined and precisely checked for dimensional accuracy. All the other components are precisely mounted on top of it. And checked again and again. As a result, our instruments in the new X Series can typically withstand drops and other minor mishaps without complaint.

When it comes to the minutest of details.

Besides optimum illumination, the best possible optics are essential. This starts with mathematically calculating the lenses. We invest a lot of time, expertise and decades of experience in doing so. Once everything is set, we build the initial samples, then we file, sand and polish. Often many, many hundreds of times. Until we are satisfied.

The lenses are machined on HEINE’s premises with maximum precision. It goes without saying that we use glass in our optics whenever possible. So making savings is not an option, except when it comes to weight.

Everything used to be heavier.

Something you pick up frequently should be pleasant to hold. Alongside intuitive operation and a good ergonomic design, weight naturally plays a role here too. One of the requirements when developing the new X Series was to reduce the weight. The new BETA X instruments are considerably lighter than the BETA 200 ones thanks to a clever choice of materials, the use of aluminium and a housing made of a special high-impact material blend.
